UNIFORM POLICY FOR SPECIAL DAYS

 

MISSION JEANS , DENIM FOR DONATIONS DAYS

Students may wear blue jeans, jean skirts, or jean shorts (appropriate length) with school shirt, school t-shirt with logo, school sweater/sweat shirt with logo, or spirit shirt.

First Friday = Mission     Third Friday = Denim       Special Missions & Denim days

No colored shorts, colored jeans, or cargo pants allowed on these days

 

HONOR ROLL DAYS

HONOR ROLL DRESS DAYS ARE FOR 4 THRU 8 ONLY

All 4 thru 8 students may wear blue jeans, jean skirts, colored jeans, with uniform shirts or

school sweatshirt with school logo. No shorts other than uniform shorts may be worn.

 

BIRTHDAYS

Students may wear what they wish, but must be Catholic School appropriate. No cutoffs,

sleeveless shirts, inappropriate print, etc. 

 

HALLOWEEN

Uniform bottoms with a Halloween shirt, as long as the shirt is appropriate and not too

scary for the younger students.

 

ST. PATRICK’S DAY

Uniform bottoms with a green shirt, as long as the shirt is Catholic school appropriate.

 

VALENTINE’S DAY

Uniform bottoms with a Valentine shirt, as long as the shirt is Catholic school appropriate.

 

CHRISTMAS PARTIES

Will be the last school day before Christmas vacation, and it will be a jeans day with Catholic

school appropriate Christmas shirt.

 

FALL PICTURE DAY & SPRING PICTURE DAY

Students may wear what they wish and clothing must be Catholic school appropriate. Jeans may be worn.

 

SCHOOL HOMECOMINGS

Union = Jeans day with red &/or black shirt or IC logo shirt, spirit shirt, etc.

SFBRHS = Jeans day with blue &/ or gold shirt or IC logo shirt, spirit shirt, etc.

 

IC HOME GAME DAYS

Uniform bottoms with spirit shirt for any student and or team shirt or jacket for the team or teams that are playing. Cheerleaders may wear their uniforms on the days that they cheer and on Pep assembly days.( No dress changes for away games)

 

FIELD DAY

Any appropriate bottoms with the t-shirt given by Home & School.

 

FIELD TRIPS

Dress will be decided by the teachers of each individual grade. Unless teachers have a good

reason why not (example: wearing uniforms to the Cathedral), students will not wear uniforms.   

 

RED RIBBON WEEK

Each year the dress for Red Ribbon Week will be decided by kids under the direction of

Miss Schroeder with the approval of the principal. Notes will be sent home regarding dress.

 

WEARING THE SCHOOL UNIFORM IS APPROPRIATE ON ANY OF THE

                                           ABOVE OCCASIONS

 

HIGH HEELS, FLIP FLOPS AND CLOGS/CROCS ARE NEVER APPROPRIATE
